Ongarakudil Agathiar Trust is Established in 1978 by Arumuga Aranga Mahaa Desiga Swamigal. Ongarakudil serves Underprivileged people around Thuraiyur inspired by Agathiar’s teachings. They provide various services :

Our Annadhanam Infrastructure
At Sri Agathiar Sanmaarga Sangam, we prioritise hygiene and efficiency in our food-making process to ensure timely delivery and quality meals. Our state-of-the-art kitchen is equipped with innovative technologies and manned by dedicated volunteers, allowing us to serve up to thirty thousand people daily.
Our Process :
- Hygiene Protocols: Vegetables undergo treatment with ozonated water to ensure cleanliness.
- Dishwashing Standards: Dishes and plates are washed with proper soap and hot water rinsed using dishwashers.
- Quality Equipment: We utilise food-grade stainless steel semi-automated machines and vessels for bulk cooking.
- Efficient Rice Boiling: Our rice boiling division can boil 300 kg of rice in just 20 minutes, thanks to our powerful boiler plant.
- Cold Storage Facility: We have a 3-ton cold storage unit to preserve vegetables at optimal temperatures.
- Ample Storage Space: Our rice and grocery store boasts a capacity of 300 tons, ensuring we always have sufficient supplies on hand.
With these measures in place, we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency, ensuring that every meal we serve meets our quality standards and provides nourishment to those in need.
